Luke Laughlin
About Luke | Owner and Founder
Luke Laughlin is a Tulsa-born landscape professional who started mowing lawns at 18. What began as a simple job turned into a long-term passion for outdoor work.
When COVID disrupted his career in audio recording and production, Luke returned to landscaping with a simple realization: grass keeps growing. Landscaping isn’t optional — it’s essential.
He worked with several landscape companies before joining Proactive, where he earned a Foreman role in 2023. With strong leadership skills and certifications in drainage and irrigation, he helped expand the company from maintenance-only services into a full-service landscape operation.
While working in residential neighborhoods, Luke noticed a recurring problem — trash areas that detracted from property value and visual impact.He saw an opportunity for something better.
That insight led to the creation of PadScape, which he developed and co-founded alongside his sister.
Ciara Penrod
About Ciara | Chief Marketing Officer
Ciara Penrod is Co-Founder of PadScape, where she leads brand strategy, communications, and customer experience. She holds a Master of Strategic Communication from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Oklahoma State University.
With more than a decade of experience in marketing, change management, communications strategy, and digital engagement, Ciara specializes in translating complex ideas into clear, actionable solutions. Her background in organizational transformation shapes PadScape’s disciplined approach to product development, positioning, and growth — while her passion for storytelling ensures every customer interaction is rooted in clarity, purpose, and meaningful conversation.
Ciara is passionate about building meaningful connections and purposeful home upgrades that improve everyday living and is proud to serve the Tulsa community she calls home.
